Thrace is the Place play the Thracian sound – Bulgarian, Turkish, Greek and Romani music – in a mix best described as fusion or world music, and even better as Calga jazz or psychedielic Gaida.

The group is made up of multinational musicians from Bulgaria, Turkey, France and the USA, with guests from Russia and Greece.

The music mixes traditional dance songs with modern Romani styles, jazz, psychedelic and a touch of punk.
