Family evening with old comedy films from the Arab catalogue of works
Comedy films and theatre pieces will be screened during this series, selected from the vast catalogue of Arab works.
“During this year’s special focus series, La Saison Arabe, we aim to give Arab-speaking families the opportunity to visit family-friendly events,” says PHILIPPA EBÉNÉ, director of the WERKSTATT DER KULTUREN in Berlin Neukölln.
Therefore, from April to December 2017, a family-friendly event, COMEDIA, will be taking place on the 4th Friday of every month screening Arabic comedy films from the 1950s to the 1980s.
