Moj is the wave, the change, the ebb and flow, always growing and cascading. Just as life on the Caspian Sea is not only full of joie de vivre and calm, but also of depths and difficulties, the music of Trio Moj reflects the traditional Persian sounds of the North, the mountains and the coast. An ensemble featuring the Setar, Tar and Oud string instruments, the Kamancheh bowed string instrument and the Tonbak and Daf percussion instruments has skilfully arranged classical Persian sounds to create a contemporary language of exile.
