For the International Day of Zero Tolerance to Female Genital Mutilation, an event will be held with rapper and activist Sister Fa (Fatou Diatta Mandiang), her activist platform "Assobul" and fellow supporters. Together with the Runder Tisch gegen Genitalbeschneidung-verstümmelung and other organizations, BALANCE will also be taking action on this issue.

There are still girls*, who live in Germany and are circumcised, often in other European countries or in the countries where relatives live. Only with in-depth knowledge of the subject, we can stop this practice.

The event will begin with a rally on the grounds of the WERKSTATT DER KULTUREN, followed by a discussion and a concert by Sister Fa. The event concludes with a cozy "get together" for mutual exchange and getting to know each other.
