Short Biography

Dr. Phil Lily Fürstenow-Khositashvili 2011 received her doctorate in cultural studies from the Humboldt-Universität Berlin and has since worked as a curator and art critic. In curating exhibitions and in other projects, she seeks to provoke critical discussion, which fosters new realizations and expanded knowledge spaces.

In her curatorial activities, she places particular focus on issues concerning the history of knowledge and the critical analysis of this history. Furthermore, she concerns herself with the question of how individual and collective memories contribute to the formation of a social consciousness.
