NAKED JAZZ presents
steht für Vibe, Spirit & Attitude und verbindet Jazz mit verschiedenen Stilrichtungen. Auf der Bühne fusioniert Jazz mit Funk, Soul, südamerikanischen Rhythmen oder Hip-Hop-Beats. Der versierte US-Drummer und Kurator Eric Vaughn featured jeden Samstag verschiedene Musiker_innen und Bands der Berliner Jazz-Szene und steht mit ausgewählten Künstler_innen der Band "The Extended Family" selbst on stage.

Tronkyvolsy

The Group Tronkyvolsy was founded in 2011 with the meeting of saxophonist/composer Tommaso Troncon and the pianist/composer Giacomo Li Volsi.


The main idea is to play original compositions and personal rearrangements switching between Jazz and a new researched shape of lyrism which aims to achieve spirituality thorughout a continuous impulse of energy and interplay alternating as well hilarious creativity and response between the musicians. All musicians are Italian.


The Duo started to grow becoming occasionally trio or quartet, for Berlin we have the guests Marco Carlesso on Drums and
Beppe Pilotto on Double Bass.

Iman Das

Iman Das is one of the world's few musicians devoted to Indian Classical Music. He follows the tradition of the school of Patiala Gharana which has produced many legends over the years such as Ustad Kale Khan, Pandit Prasun Bandopaghay or Bidhushi Mira Bandopadhyay. He feels a great need to make the younger generation aware of the legacy and amazing treasures of the gharana, in the forms of khayals, thumris and other light classical genres. Iman Das has performed throughout the world with sveral international world music fusion bands, including Ism and Jambination.

Pandit Subroto Roychowdhury: Born in Calcutta on January 29th, and reborn on May 12th 1956, when he plucked the strings of the sitar for the first time under the able tutelage of his first Guru Shri Nirmal Chakravarty. Schooled in an English missionary instituton and musically groomed in the classical vedic tradition, Subroto combines the traditional approach of ancient India with the occidental spirit of enquiry, logical deduction and rational assimilation. An ever widening spectrum of divergent views and the inherent dichotomy of his psyche has led to the enlightenment of Subroto and his music. www.subroto-sitar.com
