About the culture, history and winemaking in Georgia

A fascinating cinematographic journey into the centuries old history of Georgian arts involving the Greek, Roman and Iranian influences. Giorgi Shengelaia, born 11 May 1937, is a Georgian and Soviet film director. He has directed 14 films since 1961. His 1985 film The Journey of a Young Composer won the Silver Bear for Best Director at the 36th Berlin International Film Festival.
